Appalachian Mountain Club Presents: Unlikely Stories Podcast

By AMC Staff,

Unlikely Stories Podcast

The Appalachian Mountain Club invites adventurers, explorers, and outdoor leaders to share their astonishing stories on the Unlikely Stories Podcast. Stories that unite communities with inspiration, information, and entertainment. Elevating unheard and diverse stories, because everyone is part of the outdoor community.

Hosted by Derick Lugo, author of The Unlikely Thru-Hiker, with Carly Moree, each episode highlights the stories of historic and modern-day explorers and outdoor adventurers, from York, a slave who accompanied Lewis and Clark on their expedition across the U.S. to the Pacific, to Jennifer Pharr Davis, a long-distance hiker and Fastest Known Time record holder for the Appalachian Trail.

Episodes are available every Wednesday here or anywhere you listen to podcasts and be sure to follow @unlikelystoriespodcast on Instagram for news, updates, and more!
