International Dinner & Adventure Series

Join us on Wednesday evenings, January through March, at AMC’s Pinkham Notch Visitor Center for a special celebration of global cultures! Enjoy a unique four-course dinner inspired by a different country each week, paired with fascinating lectures about international travel and adventure from fellow explorers and adventurers. Booking Details

  • Call 603-466-2727 to reserve your spot at dinner. Phone lines are open Monday through Saturday 10am – 5pm
  • Cost: $30 for AMC members / $36 for non-members (become a member here)
  • Group rate: $28 per person for groups of 5 or more
  • Dinner is served at 6pm, and there is a single seating per night
  • Vegetarian entrées are available for all dinners
  • Responsible BYOB is welcome

Peace Corps volunteer Mallory Wahlstrom shares about Malagasy culture and her tree planting bike trek to 12 sites across the Alaotra-Mongoro region of Madagascar.

From Reykjavik to Seydisfjordur, and the glaciers in between, there is always something to see or do while in Iceland. February 12 - Finland & Lapland

Writer Jenny O'Connell shares the story of her solo trek across Finland's Arctic Circle in the footsteps of Lappish folk hero Petronella van der Moer. Inspired by Petronella's 1949 journey into the gold fields of Lapland, Jenny walked and hitchhiked the long way across Finland, following Petronella's legendary trail to Lemmenjoki National Park, where she lived in the wilderness with the modern-day gold prospectors. Includes a reading from Finding Petronella, Jenny's memoir-in-progress about her adventure.

Join Jose and Curt for their remote canoeing expedition, traveling from Iron Arm Lake in Schefferville, Quebec, via the De Pas and George Rivers to Kangiqsualujjuaq, Quebec. Along the way, they met First Nations people, tackled portage challenges, and enjoyed salmon fishing.
